The Creative Adventure
I've always found it a bit difficult to sum up in one nice easy to understand word what I do. Often I will say I'm a songwriter, or a musical theatre writer but I'm not 100% sure I fit neatly into either of those categories. I find it easier to explain what I like doing. I like creating. Mostly music, but also lyrics, stories, characters & worlds. I'm often drawn to theatre due to the multidisciplinary nature of the art form, but I also love film, especially musical films (I even love all the bad ones!) I love a good journey and I love a good adventure, I feel like these themes are often at the heart of my work.
